How to get to Vesterålen/Nyksund

There are many ways to visit us but we’ll list the most popular.

Fly to Evenes Airport (Harstad Narvik Evenes) with SAS or Norwegian. Then take the transit bus to Sortland and rent-a-car. We recommend Hertz and Avis.

You can also take a bus to Myre and take a taxi for the last 15 km to Nyksund.

Another way is to use the Hurtigruten from Bergen to Sortland, then take a rent-a-car here and fly back home from Evenes. Your local travel agent will help you.
